Our Core Values

  • We put you first.

To ensure that you receive an exceptional financial planning service instead of having a single person dealing with each client, we work as a team to ensure that you always receive an exceptional personal service.

  • We add value.

We will only work with a client where we feel that we can add real value to their financial situation and provide a high-quality service. This way you can be sure you are getting value for money.

  • We work independently and objectively.

We bring insight to help you avoid emotionally driven decisions in important money matters, by being available to consult with you at key moments of decision-making, doing the research necessary to ensure you have all the information, and managing and disclosing any of our own potential conflicts of interest.

  • We build relationships on trust and transparency.

We hope to build a long-term relationship with our clients built on mutual trust and respect. We will be your trusted source of advice for all things financial. We have designed our fee packages to be simple to understand and compare. We will write to you before we commence any work on your behalf to set out the fees you will have to pay for our services. In the very unlikely event that we make a mistake, or we become aware of an error on behalf of a third party, we will notify you immediately and explain the steps we will take to put things right.

  • We are proactive.

We work with you to anticipate your life transitions and to be financially prepared for them, by regularly assessing any potential life transitions that might be coming and creating the action plan necessary to address and manage them ahead of time.

  • We demonstrate professionalism.

We will attain and actively manage a high level of professional competence and commit to continued learning to ensure the continuation of our knowledge, skills and expertise.

  • We keep things simple.

Our aim is to cut through the numerous layers of complexity inherent in the financial markets and present our advice to you in a simple, concise manor. We try to make our reports to you interesting and engaging so that you want to read through them. This way you will have a full understanding of our recommendations and the reasons why they are suitable for your circumstances.

  • We subscribe to a formal code of ethics.

Our professional body, The Personal Finance Society, sets out a code of ethics for members to follow. At Aptus Wealth we have embraced this code and integrated it at all levels of the business. We promise to treat all our clients fairly and never abuse the large amount of trust clients place in us when engaging our financial planning services.

  • We keep our promises.

We make promises to our clients every day. Whether that is a simple commitment to call back at a certain time or an explanation as to how an investment should perform. When we make a commitment to a client, we take this extremely seriously and always aim to exceed our client’s expectations.

  • We feel that diversity is crucial to business success.

One of the reasons why we enjoy our work so much is that we get to meet clients with many different backgrounds and personalities. After all, life would be a little boring if we were all the same. We embrace diversity and as an equal opportunities employer like to work with high quality professionals regardless of race, religion, beliefs, sex, age, sexual orientation or disability.
